A fresh mix of puzzles every day.
Open Winters Puzzles and there is already a set of puzzles waiting for you. Today’s Mix picks from the whole catalogue of 32, so it is rarely the same two days running — and if you do not fancy today’s, the rest of the app is right there.
How Today’s Mix works
A mix is a short list of puzzles chosen for the day. Play them all, play one, or ignore the lot — nothing is lost either way, and the mix is replaced with a new one tomorrow.
- You choose how many. Anywhere from 1 to 6 puzzles a day, 3 to start with. Changing the number keeps the puzzles already in today’s mix — it only adds to or trims the end.
- You choose what can appear. Any puzzle you would rather never see can be left out of the mix entirely, while staying available everywhere else in the app.
- One reminder, if you want one. A single nudge each day at a time you pick, when the fresh mix is ready. Off unless you turn it on.
- It is a suggestion, not a route. The whole catalogue stays open. The mix is there to save you choosing, not to fence you in.

What can turn up
Anything in the app. A mix might pair a Sudoku with a quick Memory Match and a Word Search, or hand you Logic Grid, Kakuro and Spider if that is more your thing. Numbers, words, logic, spatial, cards, trivia and the arcade games are all in the pool — see the full catalogue.
Puzzles you finish from the mix count towards your stats and your streak in the usual way. Progress syncs quietly over iCloud if you have that turned on, so a mix started on an iPhone can be finished on an iPad.
Why a daily mix at all?
A puzzle app with 32 games in it has an awkward problem: opening it means choosing, and choosing is work. Today’s Mix does that bit for you. It is also the part of the app most likely to put something in front of you that you would never have picked — the reason a lot of people find they like Tessera or Nonogram at all.
